 How to merge and print an Outbound Letter

  1. Open up the Contact General tab for a selected Contact.
  2. In the upper right hand corner of the Contact General Tab select Other to open a dropdown menu then select Outbound Letter (this will open the Edit Activity window).
  3. In the Edit Activity window select Attach then <Browse> to open the Select File(s) window, or click on the document you wish to use. if it appears in the drop down list of your most recently selected templates.
  4. In the Select File(s) window select the folder containing the letter template you wish to use (i.e. Company Wide/Templates/Mortgage/Letter Templates/FollowUp.doc) then click Select, this will take you back to the Edit Activity window.
  5. Right click on the attached file and select Print from the dropdown menu (this will print from your default printer). (see below for other options)
  6. Click on Completed if your done with your printing your document in Word or confirm that the Activity is se to OK To Send, Pending, and the Due Date is correct, then select Ok.
 
Other printing options:
  1. After right clicking on the attached Letter you can select View to open the file in Word if you don't need to edit the document and you'd like to choose a printer other then the default Windows printer.
  2. In addition you can right click on the attached file and select Edit to open the letter in Word inside of the Cimmaron software, from there you can edit the file, print, then select Ok to save your changes to the file.
