How do I change the Lead Source and Lead Description for a group of clients?

A group of clients can be assigned to a new Lead Source/Lead Description using the Batch Assign screen.

To reassign clients using the Batch Assign screen:

    1. In the Toolbar, click on the Utilities section, and then click on Batch Assign.
    2. In the Assignment type box (in the top left corner of the screen), check Lead Source.
    3. From the Lead Source drop down box, select the new Lead Source that you want to assign the clients to.
    4. From the Lead Description drop down box, select the new Lead Description that you want to assign the clients to (Lead Description is not required).
    5. Click the Add button to the right of the Client List grid to display the Client Finder screen.
    6. Use the Client Finder to find the clients that you would like to reassign.  For example, if you would like to reassign all clients with a last name that starts with ‘A’, enter ‘A’ in the last name field and click Find Now.  If you would like to reassign all clients that are in the ‘New’ status, select ‘New’ in the Client Status field and then click Find Now.
    7. Once the clients appear in the grid on the Client Finder screen, highlight the clients that you would like to reassign and click Select.  You can highlight multiple rows in the grid by holding down the Shift key and selecting multiple rows.  To highlight the entire list in the grid, hold down the Shift key and click on the first row in the grid, use the scroll bar to scroll to the bottom of the list and then click on the last row in the grid.
    8. Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen to complete the assignment.
    9. Once the assignment is complete, a message will appear stating that records were assigned successfully.
