(Note: The Import Email function is only available with Microsoft Outlook versions XP and greater.)
To import an email:
- Use the Client Finder to find the client that you would like to import an email for and then double click on their row in the grid to display their detail screen.
- Click on the Activities tab.
- Click the Import Email button.
- From the Import Email screen, select the email that you would like to import.
- If the email contains attachments that you would also like to import, click the Refresh Attachments button.
- Click OK.
- When you click OK, you may be prompted with a Microsoft Office Outlook message stating that an outside program is trying to access e-mail addreses you have stored in Outlook. Click Yes. (Note: This message may appear more than once, continue to click Yes until the message goes away.)
- Click Save on the Activities screen to save the newly added activity.
