    How do I create and print a regular mail broadcast?

    1. To Create a Regular Mail Broadcast:
    2. In the Toolbar, select the Marketing section, and then click Broadcast.
    3. When the Broadcast screen opens, click Add.
    4. Enter the details of the Broadcast on the Details tab:
      1. Send Date – Select the date that you would like the broadcast to go out.  To send it immediately, leave the current date selected.
      2. Description – Enter a general description for your broadcast.
      3. Activity Category – Select Outbound Letter.
      4. Subject – Enter a subject for the email (this will be a general description and will not be relayed to the recipient).
      5. Assign to User or Assign to Role - Pick one of these methods to select which user the activity is assigned to for merging and searching activities.
      6. Check the Generate Activities checkbox.
      7. Click Save to Save the Broadcast. This will take you to the main Broadcast Edit screen.

      Add an Outbound Letter Broadcast

    5. Select your Recipients using the Reciepents buttonSelect Recipients
    6. You can confirm the number of recipients by click on the Check Count hyperlink in the lower-lefthand corner of the screen 
    7. Click Save
    8. Click Ok to Generate to send your print job to the server 

     

    To use the Batch Print screen to print the Broadcast letters:

     

    Once all of the merge documents are created, you can print them using the Batch Print screen.  If you have just created and generated the broadcast, it may take a few minutes for the documents to be created and added to the batch print screen.

    To Print the documents from the Batch Print screen:
    1. From the Marketing section of the toolbar, click on Batch Print.
    2. In the Batch Print screen, enter the subject of your broadcast in the Subject text box and then click Find Now.  Your documents that are waiting to 
    3. To print all of your letters, click the Print button at the bottom of the screen.
    4. Use the Print Labels button to print out your labels or envelopes.
    5. Click on Mark Complete to mark each letter as Completed. This will give you a history of the letter going out and take the letter off the list of Outbound Letters that still need to be printed the next time you use the Batch Print screen.
